Currently MHMT hold one seminar a year - in the summer - but hopes to increase this to two in the years ahead. The whole purpose of the seminar is to hone the already present skills of the students and equip and develop them as performers. All tutors are professionals (including Jacqui Dankworth, Anita Wardell and Sara Colman), working singers and musicians, not just music teachers but people who make a living from performing on stage and other venues.

At the seminar, Master Classes are held over and above the daily tuition. In 2004/5 in addition to Laurie Holloway, singers Tina May and Kenny Lynch gave time and energy to give advice on life in the music business - the highs, the lows and the pit falls. All demonstrated their art and gave practical hints to the students.

At the end of the week, the students are accompanied on stage with the Laurie Holloway Trio at a sold out concert!

The cost of the summer seminar in 2007 will be £300.
